The line dividing the North and South, freedom and slavery during the1800’s and American Civil War-era. Although simply a line of demarcation on a map, it’s a part of one the most defining moments to shape U.S. society. It was through the backbreaking work of slaves that the cotton and the textile industry were built. With unstable weather conditions varying from rain, humidity and snow; winter temperatures dropping below 30 degrees start the 1st stages of “wash” development, the cold temperatures not only allow the wash to “set” but kills of any possible germs or bacteria, creating a natural Enzyme Washed effect.
These gn’s are constructed of raw Japanese selvedge denim, creating an uneven textured finish, combined with natural fabrics, organic dyes and durability through Eco-Aging ™ allowing the Earth’s elements to create a one-of-a kind “wash”.
